Joining the firm in January 1968, Richard became a partner in 1974, and has served as President and managing principal since 1977. Richard combines leadership and management skills with a passionate quest for design excellence, and serves as Principal-in-Charge of Design on all of the firm's major projects. A proven ability to blend his own personal design talent and influence with the combined abilities of other talented staff designers has resulted in numerous awards for design excellence.
Richard has served as Principal-in-Charge of design on projects with construction value in excess of one billion dollars. He has extensive experience in the design of a wide range of project types for federal, state, county and municipal entities as well as numerous major corporate and private clients.
