RENAISSANCE
Ridgeland, Mississippi
Construction is underway on the multi-phase, Renaissance at Colony Park. The centerpiece element of the complex is a 50-acre, $75 million mixed-use development featuring 450,000 SF of retail space along with 50,000 SF of office space designed by DD/A. The entire project is planned to encompass 75 acres and will feature retail space, offices, restaurants, specialty food stores, and a hotel covering 1.15 million SF, making a total investment estimated at $230 million.
The Renaissance site is located in a rapidly growing area of Madison County just north of Jackson, Mississippi. The development is a true “lifestyle center” concept that will offer upscale quality shopping, dining and entertainment and is expected to attract shoppers from not only the Jackson metro area but the state of Mississippi as well.
The architectural concept for the center is of a Mediterranean European language with materials of stone, stucco, and brick with an abundance of landscaping and pedestrian-friendly features. Visitors to the center will be able to enjoy a day which includes shopping at some of the regions finest stores, selecting from a variety of luncheon fares and concluding the day with dinner and evening entertainment.
