PARKWAY BAPTIST CHURCH
Clinton, Mississippi

DD/A, serving as principal architect, worked in association with Larry Sones Architects in the planning and design of a new church sanctuary for this rapidly growing congregation. A unique challenge of the project was the opportunity to design a comprehensive master plan for the relocation of Parkway Baptist Church to a 46-acre site in Clinton, MS.

Phase I of the three-phase project was a 45,332 SF multi-use facility, constructed at a cost of $3.037 million. The Phase I building was planned for maximum flexibility and future expansion and featured a two-story educational wing housing classrooms for church education, as well as a day care center. The primary multi-purpose space of the complex served as a interim sanctuary, gymnasium, and fellowship hall.

An additional two-story educational facility, full service kitchen and fellowship hall was planned for Phase II, while Phase III planning featured a 1200-1500 seat sanctuary and a complete administrative complex.

The project was contracted with and produced by the predecessor entity of Dean/Dale and Dean Architects, P.A.
