HIGHLAND COLONY BAPTIST CHURCH

DD/A, serving as lead architect, worked in association with Larry Sones Architects to provide planning and design services for this Madison County church complex.

The team completed a comprehensive master plan for a 14-acre site located on the Highland Colony Parkway in Madison, MS. Phase I of the multi-phased project included a 11,200 SF multi-use facility comprised of a large multi-use space which served as an interim sanctuary and fellowship hall, and included classrooms and Pastoral/Administrative offices.

The floor plan was designed for future expansion and maximum flexibility. Exterior design of the building reflects a contemporary interpretation of traditional Gothic architecture, establishing a distinctive religious character which will be maintained throughout future phases.

The project was contracted with and produced by the predecessor entity of Dean/Dale and Dean Architects, P.A.
