DD/A served as principal architect, working in association with McGehee Nicholson Burk Architects of Memphis, TN, to master plan a comprehensive long range, multi-phase relocation plan for Colonial Heights Baptist Church to a beautiful 60-acre site in Ridgeland, MS.

DD/A is serving exclusively as architect for implementation of the master plan, which began with Phase I - a two-story, 45,000 SF Worship & Education center, constructed at a cost of $5.5 million. The interim worship space seats 700 in worship and 500 in a banquet setting, while education space for 800 is provided.

Phase II, which is currently underway, will expand the Worship & Education center and will feature a three-story education building. Encompassing 100,000 SF, Phase II will increase worship capacity to 1200-1500 seats and education capacity to over 2000, allowing for a full church relocation. The current Education and Worship center will eventually be utilized as a Family Life Center when the main sanctuary is constructed during a later phase.
