In an effort to provide space for physician practices and medical office adjoining their main hospital in Jackson, MS, Mississippi Baptist Medical Center associated with developers Centex Concord of Nashville, TN, to develop the $25.6 million Colonnades medical office building. DD/A served as architect for design and development of all tenant spaces in the five-story 160,000 SF building, working in close conjunction with Ellerbe Becket of Minneapolis, MN, who had design responsibility for the building shell. The facility is connected to the main hospital building by skywalks on the mezzanine and fourth levels.
