The firm provided full A/E and landscape architecture services for this $14.5 million expansion program encompassing the following components: a 52- bed Medical/Surgical Unit, 7-bed ICU Unit, a Surgical Suite with 4 OR's, a new Imaging Center, an Emergency/ Outpatient/Same-Day Surgery Center along with related support facilities. The Medical/Surgical Units are designed utilizing a triangular layout which minimizes walking distances between nursing stations and patient rooms thereby reducing response time and creating a lower ratio of staff to patients, while maximizing exterior perimeter walls for greater views and increased privacy for patients.
The project also included miscellaneous renovations throughout the original hospital, encompassing over twenty clinical and ancillary departments.
