MISSISSIPPI SURGICAL CENTER & WATKINS MEDICAL BUILDING

The firm provided full A/E, interior design and landscape architecture services for this $8 million outpatient surgical center/medical office complex. The facility includes a 20,000 SF, state-of-the-art outpatient surgical facility on the ground floor and 62,000 SF of prime office space on four upper levels.
Office spaces were designed for 14 physicians' groups encompassing six medical specialties, and Outpatient Surgical facilities feature four major surgical suites, eight suites for minor surgery and two rooms equipped for laser surgery, along with related support spaces.
Fast-track design and construction methods were utilized for this project. The overall project time frame, from start of programming to completion of construction and occupancy, spanned a mere 16 months.
