WEST TOWER
Mississippi Baptist Medical Center

Construction is underway on this major project for Baptist’s downtown campus. DD/A provided comprehensive A/E, interior design and landscape architecture services for this 207,000 SF medical tower for Baptist Health Systems. The $55.6 million, six-story facility will accommodate Heart Services and Women's Services for the medical center.
The Heart Services component includes the following new areas:
- Main Entry and Drop-off
- Outpatient Cardiac Unit
- 24-bed Interventional Unit
- 6-bed Cardiovascular Unit
- 10-bed ICU unit
- Non-Invasive Cardiac Unit
- Nuclear Radiological Unit
The Women’s Services component includes the following new areas:
- Main Entry and Drop-off
- 19-bed Mother/Baby Suites
- 32-bed NICU
- Wellbaby Nursery
- C-Section Rooms (2) and Recovery
Construction is scheduled for completion in October 2008.
