The firm served as architect-of-record for full A/E master planning, interior design and landscape architecture services for this $35 million multiphase expansion/renovation program at the hospital's main campus.

The $30 million Phase I was developed in a joint venture with Nix-Mann Architects of Atlanta, GA. Features of the 200,000 SF addition included a state-of-the-art Surgery Center and Birthing Center, Emergency/Outpatient Facility, three-story lobby/atrium, and numerous clinical and ancillary departments.

Services for the $5 million Phase II were performed exclusively by DD/A and encompassed extensive renovation and expansion of the Surgical Intensive Care, Cardiac Intensive Care, and the Cardiovascular Surgery & Recovery units.

This project was contracted with and produced by the
