The original program and design for this 64-bed satellite facility was based on patient-focused care for primarily low acuity patients and outpatients. The resulting design of the $25 million hospital encompassed a complete Surgical & Ambulatory Center, a Birthing Center, a Medical Office Building and essential Ancillary Support Facilities. Major departments of the 122,000 SF building included: Patient Intake; Major and Routine Diagnostic Centers; Surgical/Invasive Procedures Center; Nursing & Recovery Center; Birthing Center; Pharmacy; and a Time Share Suite for specialists. The Birthing Center contained one LDR, seven LDRP rooms, three Postpartum rooms and two Antepartum rooms.
The facility was recently acquired by Select Specialty, Inc., and with DD/A’s assistance converted into a Long Term Acute Care Hospital.
