WILKINSON COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

DD/A served as associate architect working in conjunction with NETCF Architects of Memphis, TN, for this privatized prison developed by the Corrections Corporation of America. Located on an 85-acre site in southwest Mississippi, the 185,578 SF medium security facility houses 1,045 inmates and was developed at a cost of $28 million.
Components of the prison complex include Administration, Intake and full Support Facilities, a Segregation Unit (with 21 single-man cells), and four Inmate Housing buildings featuring 2-man cells with dayroom for each 64-man pod.
