Thibodaux, Louisiana

The firm served as a Corrections Consultant to the Architect for this juvenile justice complex.

A Functional Program planning document was prepared which included an analysis of existing research literature, a review of standards, codes and laws, as well as existing conditions in the Parish. Programs, services and facilities which were to be developed were described, and relationships of spaces and security requirements were provided.

To enhance the campus environment, a residential design was utilized. The facility accommodates a full spectrum of juvenile justice considerations including:
Administration Building

Facility for Children in Need of Supervision
Facility for Children in Need of Care
Educational Facility for after-hours care

Construction costs for the facility totalled $2.5 million.
